Moving out of a UAE rental cleanly is how you get your deposit back. Give notice and clear the bills
Serve the notice your contract requires, using a method that gives proof of delivery, and keep a copy. Settle the final DEWA, ADDC, SEWA or local utility bill and keep the clearance, since an unpaid bill is a common reason a deposit is held back.
Restore and record the condition
Return the property clean, with any professional cleaning the contract asks for, and repair damage beyond normal wear. Record the final meter readings and take dated photos and videos after cleaning, so you can show the condition at handover.
Hand over and agree the refund
Return all keys, access cards and remotes. Agree the deposit refund and any deductions in writing, with evidence for each deduction. Cancel or transfer the tenancy registration where needed, and leave a forwarding contact so the landlord can reach you.

What is deducted from a deposit at move-out?
